We are delighted to invite you to a very special evening of literature, history and fine dining at Wild Thyme & Honey.

On Wednesday 25th February 2026, from 17:30 to 22:00, we welcome Lady Carnarvon of Highclere Castle for an intimate book reading and conversation, followed by a carefully curated gin tasting.

The evening begins with a welcome drink on arrival, before Lady Carnarvon shares stories from her writing and life at Highclere Castle. Guests will then enjoy a guided gin tasting, celebrating exceptional flavours, before sitting down to a seasonal three-course dinner created by the Wild Thyme & Honey kitchen.

Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase Lady Carnarvon’s books and featured gins on the evening, with time set aside for signing and personalisation where possible — making this a wonderful chance to take home a memento of the night.

Thoughtfully paced and beautifully hosted, this is an evening designed for lovers of books, heritage, fine food and good company — a rare opportunity to enjoy storytelling and indulgence in an intimate setting.
