A boutique country inn in the heart of the Cotswolds, Wild Thyme & Honey is a relaxing retreat to escape for a taste of the good life.

You’ll find us in the quintessential Cotswolds village of Ampney Crucis, just outside of ancient Cirencester, where we have transformed a 16th century pub into 24 bedrooms and exclusive events spaces. Pretty Ampney Crucis is the largest of the three ‘Ampneys’, local villages all named after the bubbling trout-filled brook which our inn overlooks.

Wild Thyme & Honey sits snugly with our pub, The Crown at Ampney Brook, both of which have been lovingly restored to create something beautiful and long-lasting for the local community.

Our ethos is all about sharing the best of Cotswolds living with our guests. Our spaces have been thoughtfully designed to let the idyllic countryside in, so that there is a feeling of being immersed in nature. Exposed Cotswold stone and natural timber cladding sit alongside a calming palette of soft greys, rich creams and inviting textiles. This philosophy is just as important when it comes to our menus, which roll with the seasons and the centuries-old Cotswolds farms that surround us.
